PHILOSOPHY
Advanced diagnostics is the key. The more precise the diagnosis the easier it is to develop a targeted regenerative intervention. Dr. Brown limits his use of neural ablation procedures performed by most pain management physicians and utilizes techniques that repair connective ligaments, tendons and soft tissues. This is done by use of regenerative injection therapy which ranges from classic “prolotherapy” techniques, PRP, Bone marrow derived stem cell or adipose derived stem cell ( stem cells derived from fat ) therapeutic intervention. A more detailed article on Dr. Brown’s regenerative medicine approach to pain is available here.
Typically, our targeted patient population consists of those individuals with predominantly orthopedic and musculoskeletal pain that have failed conventional management but have the potential for recovery. During our consultation process we try to make decisions with regard to whether or not our technologies will be helpful. If we do not think these technologies will be helpful we offer many other services that may or once the diagnosis is sorted out we will attempt to direct the patient to a specialist that we feel can help.
